Alas, as I sit here in my campus apartment I am loathing in the burning heat as the current temperature in here is over 95 degrees Fahrenheit. In the last few hours I've cursed aloud, over and over; oh how I wish I had spent $75 for a simple aid conditioner and not a night of "fun" at Hooters... their buffalo wings suck.

I can remember playing a hilarious Mac game in elementary school and middle school known as Oregon Trail. You would assume command of a wagon train crossing from Independence Missouri to the Oregon Territory as part of the endless Western Expansion movement and something called Manifest Dentistry. More often than not, you would come across what all hardcore Oregon Trail gamers came to refer to as "The River."

Tis' the season indeed, the season past the Christmas in July sales and before the Back to School sales at Wal-Mart. It is a time where freshly graduated high school students enter the mysterious panty-raiding world that is college. Whether it's a local community college, a state university or that overrated 100K a year popularity school that is the Ivy League, young and impressionable students will enter this world that will change their lives forever.
